Philippians 4:8-9 Romans 8:38-39

Mark's favorite Bible verse is Philippians 4:8-9
"Finally, brethren, whatever things are true,
whatever things are noble,
whatever things are just,
whatever things are pure,
whatever things are lovely,
whatever things are of good report,
if there is any virtue
and if there is anything praiseworthy-
meditate on these things."

My favorite Bible verse is Romans 8:38-39
"For I am persuaded that neither death nor life,
nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers,
nor things present, nor things to come,
nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature,
shall be able to seperate us from the love of God
which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."

I'm a homeschool kid. My favorite subjects were literature, composition, art, and music. After I graduated, I worked for a year as a secretary for my dad's business, Pinpoint Pest Control. In 2001 I headed to Cambodia with a missionary family, the Lewises, and homeschooled their three oldest children. I came back in June of 2002 and kept myself busy for the next three semesters by helping at home, Pinpoint, attending Mira Costa College, and teaching private piano and violin lessons. On February 3, 2003, everything that I had lived for came to completion in one man. I am so excited, because everything I have prayed for in a husband, everything I have hoped for, and everything I have waited for are in Mark. I am SO happy that God has guided our lives the way He has, shaping us into two puzzle pieces that fit together perfectly.

Mark approached me at volleyball in February, mentioning that he had spent two weeks in Cambodia recently and would like to look at pictures with me. We spent the next few months casually talking and comparing photos from Cambodia. His family began attending our church in March. When Mark asked permission to court me on May 14th, I knew that he was the one that God had prepared for me. We spent our courtship exploring each other's character, personality, and spiritual growth. We became engaged on July the 27th, and we are getting married on November 8, 2003!!
